WHO ARE THEY TELLING YOU HE IS?

Who are they telling you Jesus is? Who is this guy that is abundant with so many things? Who is this they are asking you to follow very faithfully? What is so great about Him?

Did they tell you how He is abundant with blessings? How He blesses His people with possessions? Did they tell you how your life will be magnificent once you invite Him to be your Lord and Savior? How in a snap, your life changes from drab to glam?

Did they tell you how you will never sleep famished, or have difficulties? How you will be miraculously excused from the world’s troubles? How being abundant with struggles will be a thing of the past?

Did they tell you how you will immediately become famous and successful? How you are the head and not the tail? How you are sitting on untapped wealth, you only need to do this one step for the wells to burst?

You want wealth? You need Jesus.

You want health? You need Jesus.

You want prosperity? You need Jesus.

No.

You need Jesus because of sin.

And there is nothing that you have done, or did, or will ever do, to contribute to your salvation.

You need Jesus because without Him, your sins earn you a place in Hell.

You need Jesus to give you the stamp of righteousness. Righteousness that you are very far from, but through Him…

You need Jesus to save you from sin.

Money, Wealth or Fame are far-off from being important matters in this equation.

Your Eternity is far much vital.

So, who/what are you seeking/serving Jesus for?

Romans 3:22-24 “the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have fallen short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus”

Titus 3:5-7 “he saved us, not because of our works done by ourselves in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Saviour, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
